The answer to question Nº15 is a) Robert Mueller.
The special counsel appointed to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections was Robert Mueller. The investigation, officially known as the "Special Counsel investigation" but often referred to as the "Mueller investigation," was launched in May 2017 in response to concerns about Russian meddling in the election and potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.
Robert Mueller, a former FBI director and respected prosecutor, was appointed as special counsel by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein following the recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions from matters related to the Russia investigation. Mueller was tasked with investigating "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump" as well as "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation."
Over the course of nearly two years, Mueller and his team conducted a comprehensive investigation, which included interviews with witnesses, examination of evidence, and the issuance of indictments against individuals and entities implicated in Russian interference efforts. The investigation also examined potential obstruction of justice by President Trump and his associates related to the inquiry.
In March 2019, Mueller submitted his final report to Attorney General William Barr, concluding that the investigation did not establish that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to interfere in the election.
