The answer to Question Nº9 is d) John Kasich

John Kasich, the Governor of Ohio at the time, was one of the last remaining challengers to Donald Trump in the 2016 Republican primaries. Despite a spirited campaign and some success in certain primary contests, Kasich struggled to gain the momentum needed to overtake Trump's lead in delegates.

By May 2016, it was increasingly evident that Kasich did not have a viable path to securing the Republican nomination. Following a string of primary losses and with Trump's delegate count steadily increasing, Kasich announced the suspension of his campaign on May 4, 2016, effectively ending his bid for the presidency.

With Kasich's exit, Donald Trump became the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party for the 2016 presidential election, as he was the only remaining candidate actively seeking the party's nomination. This set the stage for the general election campaign between Trump and the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.
